Contingent Workforce Category Manager 3 month Interim role, London


Your new company: A major global company spanning six continents, my client has a deep understanding of their demand and the relevant supply markets. An innovative, fast-paced and performance-driven company, you will be working within a diverse, inclusive and international environment.

Your new role: As the Contingent Workforce Category Manager, you will be establishing, agreeing and executing the category management plans for a portfolio of indirect spend for Temporary Personnel Services. You will also be involved with stakeholder management, working across multiple areas of the organisation. Your key accountabilities will be to develop strategies, then to execute these strategies, create and manage operational metrics and oversee the transactional procurement process. You will actively partner with the finance and legal teams to effectively lead change across the business.

What you’ll need to succeed: The successful candidate will ideally be CIPS qualified, with proven experience in procurement and commercial experience to include category expertise. The candidate will have a thorough understanding of and experience in procurement category management. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence across all levels in the organisation. You will have expertise in designing and delivering a Freelance Management Program and experience working in a managed service provider model for temporary staffing.
