Opportunity to join a expanding Procurement team as they continue to diversify into new product areas. Reporting directly to the Senior Category Manager you will have responsibility to direct and deliver the global travel programme whilst ensuring value for money and compliance.

Client Details

Global technology organisation are seeking a Travel Manager to join their team (Indirect Procurement). Within this growth opportunity you will be tasked with creating the travel programme strategy through creation and continual review, demonstrating innovate ideas and solutions.

  • Responsible for supporting the creation of the overall global, regional and local travel programme strategy
  • Monitoring compliance across the travel policy and spend
  • Close management of the travel programme suppliers to build effective relationships that deliver
  • Support the development of the travel policy, including ongoing monitoring of compliance
  • Develop strong relationships with the travel stakeholder base, ensuring regular feedback is collated.
  • Market and communicate category guidelines into the business
  • Embed best practices and compliance to the operating model

  • Background of managing a multi-country travel programme
  • Understanding of working with key travel providers and contract implementation
  • Excellent Stakeholder and negotiation skills
  • Implementation of category plans and review
  • Understanding of operational demands of implementation of travel policy
  • Excellent organisational skills

Job Offer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus benefits
