Junior Procurement Executive - £30k - £35k + Package - London

This boutique consultancy is going through an extensive period of procurement transformation. As a result, the firm are targeting critical hires to join their well-established procurement team. The successful candidate should have a passion for procurement with an innovative and hands-on approach to the role. This is a unique opportunity for a bight and talented individual to fast-track their procurement career with a direct path to promotion within 6-12 months.

Key procurements responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering individual projects or assisting in key aspects of major procurement projects
  • Assisting senior managers with the delivery of the full procurement process
  • Managing and negotiating contracts and working closely with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Identifying key procurements areas and opportunities within client category spend
  • Creating innovative procurement opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements
  • Use established procurement methods to recommend key suppliers
  • Meeting client’s expectations and requirements through day-to-day procurement activities

Desirable attributes:
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong negation skills with a problem-solving mentality
  • An analytical approach to procurement, with the ability to analyse key areas of opportunity
  • The ability to work well independently and within the procurement team
  • A self-motivated work ethic with a result driven approach to procurement
